How many months or weeks did it take to organise the whole of Christmas for it to be gone in one day, and even less time for the food to be eaten. I think I consumed my Christmas lunch in about 3 minutes and 35 seconds not that anyone was counting!
The best part is now I have 365 days to work off the turkey, ham, chocolates, pudding, pudding and yes please one more piece of pudding. And now that I look like a pudding I will have to put my motivational hat on and get my backside moving, along with the rest of the wobbly bits.
So here's some thoughts and reasons why I think it's a good idea to lose those bits in Two O One Six! (that's 2016 if you hadn't worked it out)
Do I consume the food....or does the food consume me?
I want to feel so damn good about myself that when I walk past a mirror...naked I don't get a fright!
I want to be able to ask the sales assistant if she has a smaller size in this rather than "are my breasts meant to be on the outside of this dress?"
I want to stop making excuses
A Healthy and Happy Year to all
It's that time of the year again, time to reminisce on what we did do in 2015 and perhaps what we could have done in 2015. I've done a million things this year. I've run a marathon, won the women's body sculpting competition, cruised the Caribbean and drank cocktails with Brad Pitt, all without even leaving the lounge.....it's amazing what dreaming can do!
Seriously though, how many of us say "Oh nothing much happened this year, it was a quiet one" So let's see how many things actually did happen in your life in 2015. Go and get a piece of paper or use the computer if you wish. At the top of it write "Everything that happened in 2015" or something like that. It doesn't matter if the event didn't personally happen to you, it could have happened to someone you know, but had a profound affect on you. List everything; the good, bad and the ugly, no matter how big or small. Mine took a few days or a few daze because I couldn't remember what happened yesterday let alone January 8, 2015!
Okay so once your list is done, take a moment to look over it. You'll notice when you read it that each note you made will bring out certain emotions in you; a smile, a joyous thought, sadness or reflection. Every thing that happens in your life moulds who we are today, right now, this minute.
For me I would have to say my big event for 2015, thus far, was bringing our new puppy home - isn't she beautiful? Not only has she motivated my exercise regime to a daily basis, but she has brought so much joy and heartfelt love into our lives.
Looking back over my notes, I actually listed 52 events that had some sort of affect on my life today.
How many can you list?
Good Luck, Merry Christmas and All The Best for a Wonderful 2016.
